    What. A. Plan.

    I set out with Josh on a journey for my marathon training and took so much more away from it than I’d expected.

    The race results speak for themselves, PB’s across the board in; 5K, 10K, half marathon, and full marathon time finishing sub-3.

    Over the moon with my race results but also thoroughly enjoyed the journey as a whole experience.

    Josh’s approach to training and his philosophy brings a mental edge, that levels up your whole running experience. Can’t recommend him as a coach enough.

    I’m not sure anything will ever top the feeling of crossing the line of the Lake Garda Marathon!

    An epic experience from start to finish, with a great coach by us every step of the way.

    The program is both challenging and engaging with plenty of variety built-in.

    I’ve enjoyed discovering a new level of resilience and found even the most intense sessions were balanced with plenty of recovery and care.

    Both the mental and physical strength gained through working with Josh over a 3-month program allowed me to approach each race day feeling prepared, exhilarated, and ending with a result I was so proud of.

    5k/10k/HM PB’s goals all smashed and to top it off a 3:34 marathon - a time I had never imagined was within my limit!

    Josh continued to push the boundaries and saw a potential deep down which is often hard to see in yourself.

    I’m so grateful for the journey and the achievement I get to keep hold of forever!

    This was my second marathon and I wanted to achieve more; this is when my research found me, Josh who enabled me to improve my fitness through structured plans, made me aware of my strengths and how to work on weaknesses, and made me push myself to the best of my abilities. The results speak for themselves I managed to easily knock an hour off my original time Josh truly motivated me throughout the journey and I cannot recommend him highly enough.

    I couldn’t have hoped for a better running coach for my first marathon. Josh personalised my plan every week and adjusted it where necessary. I felt so confident going into the run and loved the different aspects of the plan. It was a combination of sprints, easier runs, and long runs so it was never boring!

    Josh was so supportive throughout - I could’nt recommend the plan more. I can’t wait to do another race and will 100% train with one of Josh’s plan again if I can!

    Ever since hearing Josh speak about 'flow state philosophy' and his views on training, I've been following his page and his content closely.

    Four weeks out from a 10km race, Josh and I spoke and he provided me with some training pointers and constructive suggestions on how I could better structure my workouts, clearly explaining his rationale and thought process throughout. Josh appreciated and understood my commitments outside of running and put me on a plan that was perfectly suited to my life - i.e. a plan structured around my work, my social life, and other sporting/fitness commitments. The focus of the sessions was quality over quantity and I stuck to what Josh said to the tee. Throughout the process, I felt as though I was pushing my mind and body outside my comfort zone but in a way where I still felt fresh for the next session. Josh checked in on me regularly throughout and was on hand for any questions I had. Once race day edged closer he filled me with confidence that I was going to run a PB. Race day came and I smashed my 10km PB in challenging conditions - running a time I thought wasn't possible a few weeks before.

    Josh is knowledgeable, down-to-earth, and a great listener. His training plans are bespoke and tailored to each individual, their lives, and their running/fitness goals. I've already shared his details with people I know looking for a running coach and wouldn't hesitate to reach out to Josh again if I wanted help with training for a new running goal.

    “Cant say enough good things. Josh will get you personal bests across the board. Got me a 5km PB as well as coaching me through my marathon training and was really unlucky with almost back to back injuries for 3 months. We adapted the training did a lot of cross training and I did my first ever marathon in a time I though I could never do, 4.25! If I didn’t have Josh coaching me I’d have thought my first injury would’ve meant I wouldn’t be able to run the marathon at all.     I love to run. It is something that comes naturally to me and I enjoy it immensely. It gives me freedom; the freedom to move my body how I want, to explore new places, to connect with the world around me. It helps me to escape the day-to-day dramas of life and is a practice where I can enjoy my own company, connect with my soul and body, and reach new potential.

    I started working with Josh about a year ago, and it has made a huge difference in my running. He has helped me to improve my technique, build my endurance, and reach new personal bests in 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon races. He has also been a great support during my recent injury, helping me to stay positive and motivated through the rehabilitation process. Now that I am feeling better, I am looking forward to getting back on the running track this summer and reaching even higher levels of performance.

    Josh has not only helped me to become a better runner, but also to connect even deeper with the joy and freedom that I feel when I am running. He has given me the freedom to go after my goals, freedom to focus on my mindset, freedom to be consistent, freedom to be happy and the freedom to chase my potential. Running has always been a spiritual practice for me, and working with Josh has helped me to deepen my connection to this aspect of my life.

He is a great guy, will always have your back and gives solid advice whenever you need it.     I had never been coached prior to meeting Josh so didn’t really know what to expect. After having a video call it was obvious that he wanted to fully understand all aspects of my life so he could guide me to being a better runner. The training was challenging and he kept me in check throughout. I learnt a lot through this period, most of all about discipline. When ever I know I’m running to hard on a rep or getting carried away on a easy run I tell myself to loose the ego and it usually grounds me.

    I’m pretty self motivated but was still learning when it comes to having the right mindset. I remember having a massive wobble the week before my marathon, at the time I wasn’t being coached by Josh but I reached out to him. In one message he flipped my way of thinking, it was the slap round the face I needed, I’ll never forget it, and to this day I carry them wise words into every race day situation.

    Josh was a massive help for me in getting me through my London marathon training. He tailored my training plan around my busy schedule and was always understanding when I needed to switch things up. He was very on hand if I had any questions or needed some moral support! Especially in the weeks running up to the marathon when I started to doubt myself! I was so proud when I completed the marathon in the time I wanted. Definitely couldn’t have done it without him!     Being quite new to running, Josh was super patient with me going through my workouts and explaining why I was doing them. I think the biggest impact he had on my running however was my mindset. I was running my first marathon for charity and I got in my head about letting people down and he was incredibly motivational and ensured I didn’t doubt myself! Would recommend 100%’

    Josh was honestly such an amazing trainer right from the start. He even put up with my moans and complaints throughout training. Which is saying something! If you’re after a trainer that’s always on the end of the phone if you have a question or just generally need a good pep talk then Josh is 100% the man for you! Given the training can be a long slog, Josh made the experience an absolute breeze.

    This guy is something else. I ran 5km/10km personal bests under Josh’s guidance. Finally getting that sub 20mins and sub 40mins which I was desperate for, but others coaches couldn’t work out for me.

    Every single session is detailed and specific to your current fitness. Josh demands that high work ethic and dedication. Otherwise, he’s not afraid to take you off the program, which I absolutely loved about him. He’s in this for the purpose of making you greater than you think you can be. It worked for me!     A man on such a mission to be the best he can possibly be and that certainly rubs off into your own training. He sets an incredibly high standard. WHich has not only changed my outlook on my mindset but overall life also. Absolutely love the training.

    I worked with Josh for the first time for the Berlin Marathon and have been blown away by how valuable his support and insights have been to my progress. Despite having a demanding job and young child, in just a few weeks Josh has been able to transform my running.

    Where to start with putting together the words for Josh? Well I’ll go big - he’s become one of the most important people in my life, without him probably even realising. This isn’t about me but running is so so important to me and Josh has given me more than he will ever know.

    Within 4 weeks of working with Josh, he helped me towards a sub 90 minute half marathon - a 4 minute PB. We carried on, in to Berlin Marathon in September 2023. I am delighted to come away from Berlin with a time of 3:06 - a 19 minute PB!

    Josh is a knowledgeable and caring coach. My marathon training block was tailored for me week by week and communicated brilliantly by Josh. There have been many tough sessions where my limits have really been pushed - but that is what we’re in it for!

    My understanding of running has come on leaps and bounds thanks to Josh’s knowledge. Importantly for me, he’s always been so approachable when asking what I thought were daft questions.

    His psychological support/coaching has been arguably just as important as the physical sessions he has set me. His reassurance and patience throughout training, his consistent vote of confidence in me, and knowing when and what to say at the right time has been impeccable.

    I ran Berlin with a belief in myself that I’ve not had in any aspect of life before, let alone running. I knew my body could find the inner strength to race the miles that matter at the end of a marathon.

    Josh, you’re an absolute hero. I can’t wait to see what more I can achieve with your coaching and support. Thank you thank you thank you!!
